From Tamsin Oliver, 13th December for George
Hi George, sorry we didn’t email for your birthday - we have been hearing your progress (or lack of!) from your folks. Hope the wind is in your favour for the weekend and that you get off as planned. I am in your Dad's office right now eating a pud. We have just enjoyed roast chicken and wine with your parents who we havent seen for a while. We are really busy with Revilo which is great. Never busy enough for Ben! I am really enjoying it - its the best job I have ever done, if it wasnt for the stress that goes with your own business. We got an invitation from Sally for drinks which we hope to go to, and I met her parents when they came into the shop at the beginning of December. I liked them a lot. The girls are terrors. Eliza makes me laugh with her funny expressions and Matilda is gorgeous when she is being good, but a nightmare when she is in a bad mood (sound like anyone we know???!). Take care George. Lots of love from Tam xx

From: Tracey Saunders at Leadbitter on 12th December for George
All of us at Leadbitter are glad to hear that you are all still going ahead with the record attempt. We were a bit worried when we were looking at the tracking and saw the boat going backwards! Hopefully you will break the record when you know that you have lots of work waiting for you when you get back so the longer you take the more you will have!!!!
The very very best of luck to you all. Tracey and Angie xx

Hello, I met you in Gomera on the 5 th December 07, we were from the crew of a sailing boat in the Habour. I took a lot of photos from your boat and the crew members. In the night from 05. to 06th Dec. there were a storm. I remember of you and your boats. Good look and all best wishes from the pina colada crew. We are back in Germany but we think of you. Pull and win the record. (sorry me english isn`t so good) Good luck Rainer

Happy Birthday George, whilst I hear you have had a setback I am glad to hear
that it's not terminal for the crossing - no one said it would all go without a hitch! At least
you can have some cake today on land!! Go luck for the 15th.
