Dear Simon, Ben, Mike, George and Ian,
Congratulations on your crossing - one of the fastest of all time. We know you had tough conditions up there and that we were very lucky with the weather - missing your sixth man makes your achievement even more outstanding - the record will not stand for the next 15 years with boats like ORCA and Oyster Shack coming out to play! Enjoy dry land, enjoy weight gain, and enjoy a break from sobriety!
Very best wishes, Leven Brown and Crew, Brewin Dolphin La Mondiale
Oh my god! I can't believe I know a multiple world record holder! Back of the net! I always knew your guys were going to do really well; I could feel it in my water!!
I hope you all have a fantastic reunion with your friends and family and have a nice cold beer on me - the cheque is the post I swear.
I must admit at the time of writing you had not yet finished but I'm in Sydney and if you where on Sydney time you would have finished. I know what I'm talking about.
Loving all your work, take care and have a nice long rest you all deserve it I'm so proud of you all! Mags Healy, Sydney
Ian Couch, I always said you were a mad bugger! I have followed your progress with great interest and wish to send to you and your fellow crewmates warmest congratulations. I don't dare ask what's next! Phil Barker.
It is fantastic news that George is within hours of arriving - and being able to put a record or two to the challenge is even better! He has done fantastically well and I am very proud of him, as our my colleagues and co-sponsors in the office!! It is a shame that the winds have picked up for the last miles, not the most pleasant run-in but better 60 miles out from the finish than 60 miles out from the start!! Give him lots of congratulations and a beer from me, and I look forward to seeing him when he gets back!! Lots of love, Roo. Rupert Oliver
Hi Ian and the rest of the crew, the last day has come at last, very well done on making the crossing, not far before seeing family and friends and dry land, sand sea lots of beers. Have a great day when you land, congrats on this trip well done, hope to see you again soon, Gary, Liz and and the Harriss family at UPAVON
Congratulations guys! Judging by google map, which shows you surrounded by small islands only an hour ago, you have made it across by now. I hope you are all busy indulging in your wildest food-based fantasies. A truly amazing achievement of bravery and endurance - well done. Look forward to hearing all your tales upon your return. Congratulations on a safe crossing from Shaun Barker and the crew of Queensgate
Hi Ian, to Simon and all crew of ' oystershack'. Congratulations on completing your Atlantic row, have been following closely via your website and realise it has been very tough, hear you are all shadows of your former selves!!! Enjoy your thoroughly deserved rest and decent food, well done all. Love Simon's Mum
See you've got 5 miles left but we're off out on the slopes now so we'll see you when you get back. Sorry we are going to miss the party. Congratulations! Anne-Marie & Lee.
Congratulations to all of you! What an amazing achievement! You have all done brilliantly, especially as you have been cooped up for 37 days on a very small boat. Wish I could have been there to welcome you in to English Harbour. Now to enjoy some good food and drink and a long, peaceful sleep. Hope to meet you all and the boat when you are all back in the UK. Mum Martin
George and the crew of Oyster shack. Many congratulations on your safe arrival in Antigua. A fantastic achievement by you all - I'm sure it's great to be ashore. We look forward to hearing all about it. The Byrnes and Luckas's say a huge 'well done!'.
