The Route
The challenge starts in December 2007. We will set off from San Sebastian, La Gomera in the Canary Islands and row unassisted all the way to Antigua in the West Indies.
It's a distance of 2961 miles. However, this is not just a crossing but instead an attempt to break the overall speed record – a record which is currently held by the French Team La Mondiale at 35 days, * hours and which has stood since 1992.
